Here goes hope there is no award for the daftness...

I have a 1990 3.9 Vogue SE. It has had some work done on it and is in good nick. No idea on the full history as to what was and was not on it out the factory.

I want to check if I have the Cruise Control System on there as the steering wheel does not have the controls on it and the cruise switch is not present at the moment.

However somone mentioned while working on it a few months back it looked like in the engine bay cruise hardware appeared to be there.

So I want to check if they have removed the wheel and switch possibly to deactivate the system if there as a problem...

What do I need to look for in the engine bay that would give it away.
I have a black round ball type thing between washer bottle and coil on near side with a rubber hose which goes across the engine bay and in to the drivers side bulkhead not sure what this is...

Thanks

Look on the side of the Throttle linkage...if you have a rubber bellows, and various linkages to the throttle butterfly, that is the Vacuum bellows to hold the Throttle position....

Also there should be a small vacuum pump (mine was near the Offside Headlamp in the wing area (opposite to the battery)....
