D4 possible drive shaft issue

I have what I can only describe as a clicking/knocking noise from the front right of the car. This is intermittent and seems to happen randomly on not quiet full lock at slow speeds.

some times it’s just a slight noise but sometimes it sounds as if something is going to fall apart underneath.

I have had it on the ramps twice now and nothing is lose and all bushes and ball joints are good.

the outer cv boot is a little worn so will need replacing soon but wondering if this sound is the drive shaft and if I should just replace the whole shaft?

Could well be a CV joint.

I replaced the CV gaiters on my nearside front driveshaft a few years ago then not so long after I had a clicking noise from the nearside front and had to replace the entire shaft, So I would say just fit a new shaft and be done with it
