I will finally change from D2 td5 (after 10 years) to D3 in the coming days! I have found one good potential D3 auto 2007MY, with already changed engine 5 years ago by reliable landy service. They have put a Jaguar engine in the car. I will check the car on the weekend and want to check, if possible, if the new engine number is registered in the car's papers (mandatory in Hungary).
The car serviced in the same LR service until now and I got confirmation from service owner that the all needed repairs were done and the car is in good shape.
So if you could help me to check engine number (if possible) and also if any other recommendations concerning "what to check" in such car, really appreciated.
I have good knowledge in td5 but nothing about D3, D4 tdv6.
