Alternator putting out 9 volts battery wont start car
But warning light not coming on it does work
Is there another problem or could Alternator be shot and not put warning light on

I'm confused. :confused:The alternator doesn't start the truck.
If your battery is at 9 volts, it's not staying charged and something is draining it. The battery needs to have 12+ volts plus amperage or it won't start the engine.
Are you sure someone hasn't taped up the warning light? I've seen that before.
