I have been thinking about selling my 300tdi D1, built to off road and use for laning, but doesn't get used.
I've been laning in it approximately 4 times.
1995 300tdi XS, Manual, 95,000 miles with FSH (approx 20 stamps in book) 2 previous owners. 2 keys, Remote central locking in full working order, CD player, all windows fully work. 10 Months MOT
Everything i have done to it, i have bought new (bar suspenion) in the last 18 months.
Old Man Emu Dampers, + 2 inch on HD Springs
Dislocation cones
Diff guards
Steering Guard
Solid Steering Arms
6 degree front and rear radius arms
D4D Spare wheel carrier with full size spare.
HD Steel rear bumper with Nato Hitch
Detachable tow bar with tank guard
Rock sliders
HD Steel front bumper with Kingcone Goldfish wireless winch (used 4/5 times)
Twin Alternator set up, Twin Batteries
Genuine Safari Snorkel
Polybushed Arms.
BFG KM2 MT 265/75 16 with et-35 8 inch modulars.
Flexi arches (not the fibre glass crap)
200tdi rear prop conversion.
In my ownership, it has had a cambelt, 2 services, and a HD valeo clutch along with a new lift pump (6000 miles)
Mechanically it is superb, engine doesn't skip a beat, fires up first time.
Never been under water, deepest it's been through is about 12 inch when a local ford flooded.
Being 100% honest, these are the known faults i know off, the front prop is a bit tired and wants new UJ's or replacing, the paintwork is tired on the bonnet and roof mostly (never bothered me) some times from cold, 4th gear can be a tiny bit difficult to get, fine when its done over 2 miles, this is not all the time, happened a few times to me.
I am interested in taking a good D2 TD5 in p/x as i still need to be able to put my dogs in car and tow a trailer. cash either way.
Disco is located in Preston Lancashire.
£2450 as advertised (roof rack not inluded)
£3000 (with roof rack and lights)
If there is no interest in it, i may break it as i would use winch and tyres on a D2,
or i can remove winch, tyres and roof rack £1900
