I'm putting a custom exhaust on my 200tdi Defender 90.
It has a 300 turbo on so the down pipe is steel and follows the chassis next to the bellhousing. Then into a box then going over the prop to the off side and out in front of the rear wheel.
How would you fix it so as it hangs without breaking anything?
I was thinking of fixing it solid to the bell housing but then there are choices.
either fix the box solid to the transfer box then hang the rest on rubbers.
or
Hang the box and tail pipe on rubbers and just have the downpipe solid fixed to the bell housing.
i dont have the option of fitting a flexi piece to reduce the stress on the system, was hoping that the rubber hangers would suffice.
Any one done a custom system and how did you hang it ?
