Hi all
While looking at the engine compartment on EBAY of a facelifted (post 2004) TD4 freelander, I noticed there to be some sort of sensor in the pipe to the intercooler at the front of the engine. Because mine is a pre-facelift and doesn't have this, I was wondering what it is? Just curious to know.
Thanks

Thanks Chaser
Am I right in thinking then that the MAF on mine combines both the air flow meter and temp sensor where newer ones have separate ones?

Yes, originally combined with the MAF. Presumably it was moved to give a more accurate reading from after the intercooler.
