Cup holder

Hi now ive fitted my new double din stereo i need to fill the gap of the old single din can anyone suggest a cup holder from experience past cars that uses a double din size slot? Ive seen the universals on ebay and dont much like the look of them..

Mk4 golf has a double din stereo space.

Or fitted with single din stereo and cupholder

I remember buying the cupholder from eBay not cheap about £20 but would fit for the purpose you want.

Golf's cup holder is the same width as the radio but about half the height, will need some trimming around it...
I can post a picture tomorrow if it helps.

Ahh yeah your right the cup holder in a mk4 golf isn't full height. My mistake

Just looked on eBay loads of single din cupholders £12.99 or so

Yep checked ebay i think those universals look tacky tbh especially as im cream/grey and i was hoping to avoid the half hight ones also..

Nowalso finished the fascia/boxing in but too dark for a good pic ill add one when i get 5.. Tbh the satnav is cumbersome down there depending whatgear yr in, you need a shortradio tho so choice is limited without hacking at the dash mount, possibly could make a panel and use a cage but i just used what came with the stereo..

Yep its a touch low for gps and such but for general jse its pretty ergonomic, put the switches into an armrest cubby i bought..

Yep spotted tbat fella with a few of them but i thi k from usa prob more to send than its worth, as for those u iversal ones i think they look cheap/tacky and not sure how well it will blend.
Id have thought there wojld be lots of options tbh but it seems not alpha 147 might work tho..
