Hi There,

Newly joined the world of freelander owners. :)

Love my new used 4x4 but would like some advice re the cup holders, or lack of - 2001 model. I'm a coffee fiend  and am not happy to use the cup trays in the glove box doors - I need something secure whilst driving.

I can't imagine the designers envisaged the twin doors being used for anything other than picnic trays when stationary  . I'm 5'10 and can't actually open the drivers one whilst driving as my legs are too long.

Can any of you landy guru's suggest a nifty product worth puchasing to fullfill my coffee cup holder needs? A google and ebay search have been fruitless and obviously it needs to be compatible with/fit my freelander TD4 3door 2001 model.

Cheers

Cant ye just make one up wif a egg box an some dbl sided sticky tape,,,,,
Surely that will be good enough fir a fleelander anyhoo!!!

Or ye could ditch the Gaylander an get a disco Td5 witch has two that come oot at a press ov the buttn fae the center ov the dash,,, an they can hold those big cups fae Macy D's,,,, And even the passingrs in the back can enjoy avin a drink tae,,, cos gess wot,,, yup they got there own aswell,,,,;) ;) ;)

Not sure about Deependers though,,,,,but a spect ye could just weld one on tae them fookers,,,:D :D :D

Thanks so much for all the replies! Had a good laugh. :D

Love the beer hat option, but my baby girl would just want one too and she's a bit small for beer...

Yes, hubby has been stuck with the cup holding duty ;)

Thanks for the links to the dash mounted thingy, awesome - will get it sorted!
