L322 Cubby box handle.

The silver handle on the cubby box in the centre console was loose when we bought our Range Rover. How is it supposed to be attached to the metal part underneath? There are a couple of plastic pins in the handle that look like they attach somehow to the metal part. I tried Araldite yesterday but the handle only seems to contact the metal part at the edges and it didn't stick sufficiently. Glen.

I have managed to remove the metal locking mechanism and it looks like there should be two small screws holding the handle to it.
