Hi all,
Is there a repair kit containing all of the vacuum hoses? Some of them are preformed as tight right-angled short section (up near the vacuum actuator). Or do folks just make do with appropriate bore Silicon hose?
My hoses all seem cracked and split (well, it is 19 years old) and the Cruise doesn't function any more.
It did, but had a tendency to decide to increase speed rather than stay steady where it was set.
I have 7mm silicon hose and I have asked in the past if silicon is OK and got an OK (from @wammers , I think). I am just concerned that bending hose in small radius bends tends to kink/pinch the hose whereas the preformed stuff is perfect for the job.
I looked in Rave and it seems there is no schematic of the hose runs, so it must be a "old ones-off/new-ones-on" process of discovery on a piece by piece basis?

Anyways, it is the only thing that doesn't work on the vehicle so would be nice to fix it (at last). Then that only leaves a replacement headlining. :D Really need to get my sorry Ar$e in gear before it gets all rainy again.

Could you not make tight bends with copper tube?

Good call Keith, yes, that's a good idea. I have no idea how much hose is required, I ordered 3Metres of black Silicon @ 6 or 7mm bore (I forget).
I deferred the job because I no longer do long M-way journeys but I ought to have a go before the rainy-season is upon us again and while the ground is still dry for lying on.
