Hello Folks,
Does anyone have an opinion on the Ifor Williams canopy v the Patriot tilt security cage. I kind of like the look of this here motor:

Not seen the patriot tilt cage in the flesh, but my friend has a patriot roof rack - they're very strong, but the design isnt always the best - some of the joins use stainless nuts and bolts, which are easy to remove when required. Other joints use stainless bolts (m8) into tapped out holes in the aluminium. Up to now, trying to remove 12 bolts, would just need to remember to grease the bolts every few years. Their customer service is really good too. My friend rolled his Defender- his roof rack protected the carf. Having phoned patriot, they sent four replacement legs for the rack, free of charge.

Doesnt help you much in your decision, but they are a good company, with a small close knit group of staff. the tilt cage looks pretty substantial, and allows you to securely maintain the cool look of the crew cab. If I'd known about this, I'd prob have bought a crew cab, not a csw.
