Normally, id very much consider a bit of metal to be pretty much the same, but –
I removed two keys yesterday -
The key that was badly mangled seemed to be of a softer metal than the one on the front. When I was hammering it with a drift, it deformed more, for, I think, the same amount of hammering.
And it had failed in use.
So, do I spend an extra £7 on what might actually be the same item?
