Thanx, very frustrated its a nice motor, misses owns it,spent £350 at diesel specialist, tested and sorted injectors, runs with easy start, but wont fire up.

Im thinking hp regulator o ring split as read on another forum, but access to remove it difficult, plus guy at diesel place electrical issue,so gonna check all fuses probably a bad connection or return

Why not pop a question in the freelander section.

Could be glow plugs?
Does it start once warm?

What is the rail pressure as you crank the engine? most cr engines need roughly 200 bar to start.
Have you done a leak of test to see which if any injector is passing to much fuel?

Hi no it wont start at all hot or cold, after reading forums on hear these td4 engines a nightmare or rovers electrics poor, how can a vehicle run well but not start ie diesel, expert diesel specialist cant sort it,he said pressures are all good ie compression, fuel supply etc.

Hi just spent £350 at diesel specialist,he says all pressures good, injectors 2 required stripping, one replacing, still wont start,he said electrical feed problem,to certain fuses,iv put it in autotrader, given up,i havnt got time.

Were the mot advisories sorted out, it is mint after all :)
