At slow speed with, what I can only describe as a cow bell type noise any ideas.....

Also reverse seems a bit more clunky than normal

And before someone else says it I have not run over a cow!!

Thanks

how often does it make it , all the time, at certain speed, gear change.

Catalytic converter braking up inside could be a possibility. Funny you should say, mine sounded like cows bells when it went on my disco 2. If so just get shot of it & go for a straight down pipe.

I had a noise like that.
It was the exhast downpipe, the flexi part had stretched and was just hitting the chassis giving a metalic noise could be described as you say.
New decat down pipe fitted, noise gone and a better performance.

The noise my one was making disappeared when the hand brake was pulled on a bit while going along, leading me to believe it was hand brake related. It was purely the loose prop nut, which also sounded worse while coasting for some reason.
