Couple of things

Hello, i have just purchased my first Range Rover a 2.5DT on a P reg, couple of things i would like to ask.

It had a boot full of water, is there any common place to look for leaks?
Somehow i have got the Alarm fault light on the dash, i think it was the guy who valeted it playing withthe remote, any idea's?
And are the 2.5's worth chipping, some say you HAVE to, some say its not worth the money, what say this forum, if so where to get it done around Oxford.

my 2.5DT is chipped, and compared to the standard DT....well there is no comparison. its like having the grunt of a V8, but having diesel economy gives it about an extra 30bhp. i haven't upgraded my intercooler yet, cos that will give another 25bhp or so.

Thanks for this, where would i get the chip conversion done and how much would it cost? I am in oxford, and the intercooler, i take it that you can upgrade this as well? All information would be helpful.

Any idea what gas goes in the Aircon?
