does any body know the part number for the horse shoe shaped washer that fits with the front prop to vcu .

also ic got a squeky rear brake, iv tried winding back the adjuster but still it sqeels like hell, how do i stop this? i know with disks and pads you put copper slip on but no idea with drums

+1, bought some locking washers for my prop a few months back and I remember they also sold the horshoe shaped washers, can't remember the firm I bought them from though, sorry.

The horse shoe clip is TOO100000 at £2.77 plus vat through britcar it's called prop shaft yoke clip f/l hope this helps

The rear brakes I would strip down and put copper slip grease on all the places where the brake shoes touch the back plates and check the edge of the material if it's squared off file it to a 45 degree angle

cheers zippy, i could find it on rimmer in a kit but not seperately..

brakes are getting stripped this weekend so fingers crossed il sort that :D

If the shoes are britpart ones then I am not sure if copper slip will cure it. Mine squeal like a stuck pig. I am going to replace mine with some better quality ones soon.

You should give the braking surface a rub with some emery cloth to take the shine off cloud also help but I would use britpart for brakes buy decent make some thing like mintex you only get what you pay for
