In the process of an engine swop and my trusty old petrol engine is up for grabs.
I tended to run it only on LPG (system failed and was removed) although I recently had around 14mpg on petrol - but this was with a tired old carb. With the right carb (twin choke Webber) it should be good for 15-18mpg.
No knocks or rattles. Well serviced. Includes new dizzy with electronic 'Lumenition' ignition, new HT leads and reliable alternator.
Have short video on camera of engine running.
