Hehehehe you bunch of nutters!! Don't need a baseball bat though guys, don't forget, I have horses, so plenty of ideas on how to keep things in good order :p ;)

Seriously now, if anyone would be so kind as to volunteer their expertise and time (not to mention their tool kit - and don't be too cheeky :D ) I'd be happy to make gallons of tea and ask girly questions till the cows come home!!!

So, should I get on and buy that blanking plate then, as well as the towbar :) ???

Agree that fitting the bar is a simple job but:-

1/ Remember that your exit ground clearance is reduced to that of a porche botoxer
2/ The bolts need to be really tight and will rust very quickly so spend a little more and get some stainless bolts.
3/ Witter Towbars are OK if you want to tow a trailer but if you intend to do any serious towing (A boat or a big caravan) then get a Dixon Bate one that is adjustable in height.
4/ Make sure you get the original Land Rover wiring loom then you will not need to do any wiring at all as the connectors are already installed for you behing the drivers side rear light cluster (the upper one on the bodywork)
