Hello folks.
On a previous posting I mentioned the fact that after a cam belt changed I noticed about a week after a squealing....

Subsequently this was diagnosed as the auxillary belt tensioner... Okay good so far..(perhaps)

After £80 plus vat and later quote from Landrover Garage and the Paramedics to aid my recovery I decided that I would Ebay and source a part....

Okay with me so far.... I see an Advert for a replacement bearing... AHA I think that will be the ticket... a few chaps on here have used it and hey presto....

After consulting with these fine fellows on this site I purchase the items and look forward to repairing the Disco and to get rid of the mouse that squeeks inside the engine bay!!!

Alas Today after replacing the bearing the squeal had turned into a whailing banshee and the equivalent to 20 mice inside the bonnet....

I kind of guessed that I had messed up somewhere... So without further ado I decided after a cup of coffee and extreme pleading to the wife ... who it has to be said has been rather good when it comes to Bills for my Beast..... However not only did the Garage mechanic enjoy his payrise at my expense... the darling wife decided to capitalise on my predicament and C0-herse me into going shopping....and to really compound the injury it's a curtain store and my patience is those sort of stores last less that it takes Linford Christie to do the 100 metres....

The good news is my Disco now chugs along nicely rather the opposite to my bank account...... ... Now does any one have a few suggestions on how you start a letter to your bank manager....pleading my case...
