Freelander 1 Coreplug replacement

Hi all. Not sure if I am posting in right place having joined an earlier discussion from a 2020 posting. My 1998 FL 1 has a major water leak which I believe,having read a few postings,is coming from the core plug on the right hand end of the engine where there is a black plastic cover. Could someone advise as to how difficult a job to do and what sort of time should it take. Thanks for your help and Happy Xmas
