coolant system

ive just done the cambelt kit on my 300tdi, im wondering do the water system need bleeding as i see a large brass nut on the themostat housing and one on the radiator, ive filled it with antifreeze and water and the heater works great and it seems to hold a good tempature but im curious as to wether it needs bleeding, thanks spencer.

In theory it'll just need running with the top bleed/filler bolt removed, the one above the thermostat, till water comes out then retightened
