just looking for confirmation that i have done this correctly.
i dropped the coolant from my Td5 defender, flushed the system then refilled with fresh coolant. left the header tank cap off set fans to hot and released the bleed screw until i had a nice clean jet of fluid with no air then topped up tank to level.

i was changing the injector harness today as i have oil creep and i thought my engine seemed quite hot even though the coolant level seems fine and the temp gauge was reading normal, did i miss something when bleeding the coolant or am i being paranoid

The engine does get hot when it's in use, it's normal.
I know but I think I was just worried I hadn’t bled it correctly and that it was hotter than normal, but took it for a good drive and the temp gauge read normal and the fans blew hot air. Just being paranoid
