Convert to LHD

Hi everyone,my dad is just about to make a trip to Gambia with his Landrover dis 200 TDI 94,where he plans to sell it before flying back,only problem is they all want Left hand drive so we need to find a conversion kit to left hand drive,I would appreciate any info people have on this subject and any info about selling landys in Gambia,mauritania,thanks alot

Except the obveus dont forget the wipers are also back to front

Be easier to buy a LHD disco in Europe and sell the RHD here one I think

Pedal box, wiring loom, dashboard, brake lines, wipers, steering links, all need sourcing/changing. Then of course you need to insure that very heavily modified vehicle!

Plenty of LHD Discos and looooooads of Defenders around if you look. Save yourself a world of trouble.

Check out customs regs on country you are importing vehicle into. They can be more than vehicle is worth. If you do a temporary import and don`t re-export the vehicle you`ll likely end up with a huge bill ! Tax + conversion costs = consider v. carefully before acting.
