Conversion

Does anybody know how to convert the steering into power steering? and can I convert to disc brakes for my beloved sIII?

I`ll have a dig for some power steering info. There`s a conversion on the market for discs on the S3 by somebody or other - can`t remeber who at the moment, but I think it`s the same lot who do the timing gear conversions for the 200 / 300 tdi engines. I`m sure theres also a conversion using the axles etc from the Spanish Santana Landies, but I think the bits are a bit scarce. (and expensive!)

Thanks for that Stevethe, I managed to find a power steering conversion kit from a company in Wales called Chris Perfect, but like you said they are very deer!! £800 but I have started saving. Tanks again.

Has any one put a rangie steering box on a seires?, i know this would be a lot of work but would be alot cheaper, i would consider doing this myself if i could find out more info any ideas guys!
