Hi guys

Anyone got any good tips to remove condensation from inside the speedo, tried a hairdryer and it worked ,but got up in the morning only to find it all misted up again although not as badly.

Condensation inside the gauges usually means the rest of the interior is damp. Stop the water from getting in first, then drive around with heater/blower on maximum and windows open (rear windows/sunroof if you have them) until everything's dried out. If you're getting condensation on the inside in the mornings, you can speed up the drying out process by wiping it off the windows first thing and wringing it out outside the vehicle.

Obviously the best bet is stop the damp, not an easy task in my defender!
A quick fix is to drill a tiny hole through somewhere not noticeable, this will let air pass freely and stop the condensation as the 2 temperatures meet.

You'll almost certainly have a leak through windscreen seal, windscreen frame to bulkhead seal, roof seal or door seal, or all of them. :D
However, what Flying Pete said made me think. Check the dump valve in your heater box duct pipe, where it comes in from the wing. They clog with dirt, then water collects in the tube, drawing in moisture through the heater. Worth a look, but chances are you'll have a leak or two!
