Hi all,
My self and my other half are looking at sorting out bushcraft weekends and combining them with off roading and all aspects that go with it. We live near Monmouth so the forest of dean is on our doorstep and so is the river wye, so local short day runs would be the first runs out.
We were wondering if there were any other like minded peeps that might fancy hooking up?

We are aiming to make a run to Sweden in 2014 for a self supported canoe/ bushcaft expedition.

Hope you all the best in 2014 and see you on the other side

I'm in the midlands but I have use of a very large forest in Wales. I was thinking of a trip to near the arctic circle to see the northern lights.

Sounds good, We were thinking of Sweden as the wild life is immense and they welcome wild camping, that coupled with fantastic lakes and river systems to explore seem like an adventure.
We did the alps last year and wild camped every night, loved it and would defiantly recommend it.

Sounds perfect.

How long did the trip take?

Alps trip was 10 days and 2000 mile, fantastic off road runs if you know where to go, and the wild camping was something else.

I got a mate who lives in Gallivare in North Sweden who is a bushcraft instuctor. I might be able to get info off him if you guys are wanting up that way..
