Hi,

Well after my battery/alarm problems finaly got the EKA and after a few tries it worked - car starts .

Both keys start the car and both fobs unlock the car. But only one fob ( no.2) locks the car. Not a great problem but would like to fix it - any suggestions ?

Also had to get the radio going :

I have the radio code and input the 4 digits using the numbered buttons- but put the last digit in wrong.
I switched off and went back 20 mins later thinking it would clear and ask for the code again but the same numbers show up when I switch the radio on.
I may have input the code using the wrong buttons ( I was sure I was using the right ones after a similar radio some time ago )
I have done a search but cannot find any instructions - anyone of you have the same unit ?

I hope the picture attaches - the unit is a "Diversity" with a LandRover green oval logo.
Regards
Alexander

hi, these are the instructions from my handbook.

Switch on the unit by pressing the on/off button. (''code in'' appears in the display)

Enter the correct security code by pressing the preset buttons, corresponding to the numbers of the code in the right order; eg first digit of the code is 3, press pre set button 3, the number will then appear on the screen.

when the correcrt code has been entered, the display will show the radio frequency and the radio will operate.

If the wrong code number has been entered, the numbers will remain on the display and the unit will not operate. if this occurs, follow the procedure below.

1) press and hold the band button for approximately three seconds (code in appears in the display)

2) enter the correct code number.

if the wrong code number is entered three times, a time delay period of one hour commences. after one hour you can try again. each time another incorrect code is
entered, another hour delay will be activated until the correct code is entered.

I am sure this should work, it is from my handbook and have the same radio as you, i had the same problem and eventually got it working.
