hi has anyone ever changed clutch on a series 111 88 inch 2.25 petrol how hard/easy any hints or tips would be welcome does anybody know if there is adjustment that i can do befor i change the clutch and is there any special tools that i need apart from my own fold away in a roll bag mechanic regards colin

Hi, Its not the best job in the world, just tedious, but not that technical.
Remove all seat box and floor, remove prop shafts, disconect hand brake linkages, clutch actuater, and any other appendiges, put jack under rear of engine to stop it tilting back, you can then ease the box back on the chassis and swap that way.
Ive done 3 over the years and found this the easiest way.
Not a lot to adjust, but you can squeeze adjustment on the actuater rod on the slave cylinder by bell housing.
As for tools, no specials required but you may want to knock up an alignment tool.
I find a socket that fits fly wheel, put on long extention bar, and wrap insulating tape around it to the size of the new plate, where the new pad will sit, this and eyesight should suffice.
Hope this helps

how do?
if you stick a 1/2 inch socket between the engine and the crossmember it should hold the engine at the correct height for ease of reinstalling the g/box
