clutch

hi guys

i have got a series 3 88inch and i need some advice on the clutch i need to know how to allingn my clutch plate i have tried a clutch allignment tool but that is too small any ideas

you can wrap tape around something suitable or just do it by eye

I the past I have used this method on cars. Line it up by eye but dont tighten up fully and present the gearbox up to it so the shaft can enter. The clutch will be loose enough to move into place. Carefully remove the gearbox and fully tighten up the clutch.

I used one of them plug socket The ones u use to remove plugs in petrol engines etc
