any bocy experienced travel in clutch pedal?,have bled it and now it seems to be worse, problems selecting gearsa now.

Did you pressure bleed it??
Problem can be that the stroke of the master cylinder is not quite enough to move the slave cylinder piston it's full travel which means that a small pocket of air sits at the end of the slave cylinder and try as you will, there is not enough movement to expel it. Had this problem on a Disco. I owned and pressure bleeding shifted it no problem,:behindsofa:

you lost me at" did you pressure bleed it "?

Pressure bleeding is when you have a reservoir (Bottle) full of brake fluid with two tubes connected, one is connected to an air supply of around 15-20psi (Can be a spare wheel etc.) and the other has a cap attached which fits in place of your existing master cylinder cap. The air pressure forces the fluid into the system at say 15psi and the bleed nipple is released. Result is that more volume of fluid is forced through the slave or brake cylinder and this expels any elusive air pockets. Gunson used to do them and I know Draper and a few others also do a kit. However, for a one off, it may pay you to take it to a garage and they will do it in around 10-15 minutes. Just replaced the rear brake pipes on my P38 and it took me all of 30 minutes to do the lot.
