Hi Guys

Just wondering if anyone has replaced their own clutch in the Freelander 2? Just wondering what the best method is? I am going to do the timing belt/water pump at the same time, so do I pull the engine and box out for ease, or just the gearbox. If its both can it come up and out the engine bay or is it a sub-frame off and out the bottom job?

Bought a DM Flywheel, clutch kit, release bearing, crankshaft seal, and a timing/water pump kit from the main stealer, pricey but I figure the original gear has lasted well to the 100,000Mile mark so why not!

Anything else worth doing while im in having a dig about?

TIA

if you're going to go about taking the engine out id be doing other thing while its out like the water pump, timing belt, might as well take the head off and replace the gasket, while the heads are off might as well drop the sump and measure the pistons..........
