Hello,
I have a 2007 defender 90 project that I bought with a noisy clutch release bearing. I dropped the gearbox off and replaced the clutch and the bearing.
Everything is now bolted up. I bled the clutch to with the self bleeding system which links to the tyre valve. I bled this up which gave me a pedal. With everything in place I started it up.
However I can select every gear but there is no drive to the wheels. Even transferring it from high box to low box still nothing. Just thought id double check if I’ve missed anything before I strip it all down. It’s as if the clutch is engaged but not disengaging. I have cleared the clutch system of fluid and when starting the car I can still select every gear but with no drive to the wheels. Thanks.
