clutch pedal

Hi Folks, after quick fix.... Just took series 3 88'' out on emergency run. One of the joys of being the only family member with tow hitch and trailer!! When i pulled off could not select ANY gears. Clutch pedal had no pressure. Pumped it a few times and then managed to get moving. 40 mile round trip and no probvlems since. Any ideas?

sounds like a master cylinder problem to me. that's what i`d change first. easy and cheap.

Master cylinder probably sticking, as arb78 says fit a new one.Put fresh fluid in the system.
