Clutch master cylinder

Hi all. So after spending alot of time on my lani i thought id cracked it. Until today. Noticed the clutch pedel needed to be pushed hard to the floor to get in gear. Once driving its fine. So when i got home thought id check the fluid levels only to find there was nothing in the res apart from what seems to be oil. Has any1 ever come across this before? And does any1 know what to do? Cheers

Are you sure it was not old brake fluid?

Have you ever changed it?

What LR product have you got?

No not sure. Never seen it that black before tho. No never changed the fluid. 300tdi. I think at the least i should flush and put new in.

Stick a pressure bleeder on it and flush it through. Will make it easy to do.
