Clutch really stiff bite is nearly floor level and gears hard to engage - the higher gear the worse it is. Replaced bracket then replaced slave master cylinder. the car is still exactly the same. Now have been told its the clutch casing? I'm really worried it may be the gear box. Can anyone offer any advice please.

how much was a new clutchProblem solved. New clutch. Have been told on most cars a high bite indicates a worn clutch but its the other way around on a freelander! Now drives perfectly)
You may have to wait a while, the thread is 6 years old and the Op hasn't been seen since then!
