Clunk from rear of 90 TD5 XS

HI All.

When travelling along and I lift off the power and then re-apply there is a ver loud clunk from the rear of the vehicle...........don't really notice it at high speeds but more around town etc.

A-Frame ball joint or something in the driveline are my thoughts. How can I find out what is what?
