Why don't you get the Landy back instead of just letting it sit there and let someone with absolutely no bias take a look?
I've just had mine in for a knackered UJ and decided to have both propshafts replaced at a good price. I asked for a full inspection at the same time due to various clunks etc. and got back that most of the bushes are on their way out and anything with a gear in it was worn too. That opinion came without actually being able to see inside the boxes or even checking how much oil was in there.
I'm replacing the bushes as that will give me a better idea of what else is clunking. I'm replacing ALL the fluids in the boxes. Only THEN will I even consider how good or bad the boxes are and whether I will consider having them looked at.

I recommend you do the same. Do you know when the gearbox fluids were last done? How much oil is in there??
