So I posted a couple of months ago that when releasing the accelerator pedal when at speeds of 60-70 mph, there's a fairly heavy clonking noise and some vibration (although not excessive), seemingly from the rear but it's hard to be sure. It vanishes when the power is applied again or when the deceleration of the 90 lessens.

It was suggested to me that this could be the rear A frame ball joint but I am not entirely convinced. It will be changed in the near future anyway when I finish the rebuild of a disco axle.

I did check the prop shafts when I first reported the problem but could not notice any play in the UJ's like I previously had when the front prop UJ failed.

Rather confused.
