Feeling lazy, I'm tempted to put the jet-wash on it, but is this the
most sensible/sufficient thing to do?

I am intending to paint the chassis (surface rust only, I think) with
Galvafroid, which should go straight onto surface rust, and, judging by
our garage roof trim over the winter, works really well.

Failing that, it's back to 'ordeal by Waxoyl'...

Regards,

Simonm.

Put the garden sprinkler under for an hour or so first (unless you
have one of them there hosepipe ban thingumies, of course), then use
the jetwash to clean off the softened crud.

I kin love Waxoyl... oh yes yes yes...
My neighbours do not like Waxoyl, oh no no no...

Sounds like a plan. I find my caving oversuit is excellent for all
things unterLandRoverish. reasonably oil- and waterproof, and very
resistant to abrasion. I don't have the height to fit Marge in the
garage, so it all happens in the lane outside (at dead of night,
obviously - don't tell the neighbours!).

I don't think even global warming is quite enough...

Wot, you mean you've still got the arse in your caving suit?
Most cavers I know seem to wear that part of the suit away...

Only in the new one! The old one leaks just where you'd expect :)
