classsic engine conversion

jsut roughly- if i had a 4.8 petrol classic, that had had engne and gear box taken out, and a 200tdi engine- what would be involved/needded to fit it and get it all working ? the fuel tank has been cleaned

reason- a mates got the classic, with a rare turbo technics engine or something, that someone abroad wants to buy for money he cant refuse,just want some sort of rough idea on what would be involved or if its viable or not £££ wise
