Hi All,

Ive got a set of Silver on Black Land Rover badges one for the front and rear and 2 for either side. I guess they are for a Range rover Sport as they are one size.

The Problem is the Side ones are a little too big for the current space. Im sure i could take off the old ones and fix them in place but i would prefer the exact size.

Has anyone come across the classic badges for the freelander that fit perfect?

Cheers

I had this trouble when i tried to update the badges on my old Freelander.

I managed o get the ones for the Front and Rear and then managed to acquire some alloy wheel centre caps in black and silver.

The problem is that the Range Rover Supercharged does not have the badges on the Rear Qtr panel like the Freelander and therefore they are not produced.

If anyone knows of a company who produces them, please let me know as i would be interested in a set so i can update my new one

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the reply, didn't think i would get one! lol

Well after checking and checking again, it looks like the standard RR Sport Badge if removed from its outter body will fit just right for both the front and rear.

The Same ones will sit ok if a little larger on the sides.

So my next question is how is the standard side ones fixed to the freelander? Are they taped in place or screwed from inside?

Also is there an easy way to take the new inner badge out of the outter body without damaging it?

Cheers

They don't do them in Freelander size because the silver on black badges are only fitted to supercharged RR and RRS.

Hi,

Well after alot of effort from a mate at work, we got the badge out of the plastic body for the front and rear and they fit perfect.... I think you could simply ask for them with out the body and make your life much easier....

As for the side ones manged to get the small ones off without damaging the paint work!!!!!!! Not easy. And simply put the larger ones over the recess.

Very happy with the final result, will take a few pics at some point.

Thanks for the advice.
