Classic most common thread size

im looking to buy a selection of nice new yellow passivated nuts bolts and washers. What would be the most used size across the classic with regards to fixtures and fittings. I’m thinking mostly M6 and M8?
 
Depends what fixtures & fittings !! I just checked Classis Chassis here, and crossmember = 10mm, but floor bracket = 5/16 UNF.

They tend to be a mixture.
 
Mixture of metric & UNF. With some UNC to make life interesting.
As some go into captive nuts you need to know the thread.

I'm fortunate that I have a fastener specialist nearby & if I want one washer - stainless, mild steel etc - they'll sell me one washer ( never had a £1 min charge imposed) Stainless I use on the boat.

For some engine (V8 in my case) bolts esp things like the long waterpump ones I've found it easier to either buy from one of the usual suspects or a set from ebay. Just use the LR part number.
