Hi all, this is my first post and im hoping you can all give me a bit of advice. Ive been off roading now for about 4-5 years and i love it. Im going to be getting a classic ( hopefully v8 ) in the next week or so and starting modding it straight away. My last truck was a vitara on 35's so im needing the rangey to be bigger . Im currently looking at 37's or 40-41's.
Im needing advice on what kit to lift it with, as ive been searching the net ive came up across these two.
5 Super-Lift Kit - As Fitted to Our Defender BBC Top Gears Range Rover - 3" suspension lift 2" bodylift
or
Challenge Kit Gwyn Lewis 4x4 Challenge Suspension Kit can be fitted to Defender 90, 110, Discovery 1, RRC. The lift kit for winch challenge competitions, off road events. - by the looks of it just a suspension lift so a 2 or 3 inch bodylift would need to be bought seprate.
So my question - would either of these kits be big enough ? I understand that i would need to chop the body front and rear to fit but as far as lift is concered would a 3" suspension lift and 2" bodylift be enough ?
or if not could anyone reccomend a kit that should be good for me ?
Thanks for any help given
