It looks like I've got a dead fuel pump on my '93 Classic so I'm looking for a replacement.
There is a slight problem though, the pump is tank mounted in a custom made (v. small) tank that is totally inaccessible. The original petrol tank has been replaced with lpg tanks. I only use petrol for starting the engine, it switches to lpg after 30 seconds or so.

With this in mind would an in-line pump be an option for me? if so what sort of pressure does it run at?

Thx
Chris

It says in workshop manual the pump is operating at up to 2.3 to 2.5 bar if thats any help,I can't see why an external pump won't be suitable for yours.

Thx, 2.3-2.5 bar, thats roughly 33-36psi... so quite high pressure ... that rules out the cheap pumps :(

Another option would be to try and find an external pump at a breakers,If you can source another make of vehicle which has a high enough pressure pump fitted
