P38A Clarion Radio/CD Changer

Hi,
On my P38 I have a clarion CD changer but an after market radio. Been trying to look for a working clarion radio but they are rare, there are plenty of Alpines.

Can I use a Clarion CD changer with an Alpine unit or is it easier to buy an Alpine radio with an Alpine CD changer?

Happy with after market radio but wanted to see if anyone has done this?

If I fit an aftermarket radio in the project P38, it will be one with ability to play music from my phone and/or an SD card.
