Hello All,
Got my 91' Defender 90 200 TDI a few weeks ago from the UK. I have friends in Wales that I visit every once in a while and every time I am there I see old Rovers all over the place. I finally got one shipped over. I bought it from a "reputable" dealer. Looked great online but you can probably guess that new paint and undercoating can hide a lot of flaws! Anyway it was to be expected. I really love the RH drive! Next time I go over there I will personally pick out a few to import over here. This one is going to be a bit of a project. I drove it from the port to home which is about 175 miles and it ran good. Got some kind of clunking noise if you don't release the clutch really slowly. Not sure if its a pressure plate or throw out bearing issue but I will search the forum for similar problems. Seems like a cool forum and I suppose I will be spending a lot of time on here.
