Circlip for 300tdi belt tensioner pulley

I hope someone out there can help...

I need the circlip that holds the bearing in the serpentine belt tensioner pulley for a Defender 300tdi.

After all the hassle of getting it out, I thought getting it back in was going to be the easy bit... That is until it slipped and sprung off into the deepest darkest depths of the garage. So far MIA!!

Help please as I can't seem to find / buy one anywhere... If anyone knows where I could get one that would be great.

The bearing repair kits on eBay sometimes come with a new clip, my last one did.

Try a company called Brooklands for parts, I have used them lots and there good for fidily parts that no one else seems to do!

Thanks guys, I decided to spend ages hunting in the garage and I finally found it hidden in a corner.

4 hours of searching for a 2 minute job... At least the garage is tidy!

Did one a few years back. £7 for a bearing or £90 odd for new tensioner. We got the bits from RS in Southampton. if you have one near, or even use their online shop.
