The sad time has come that I am going to part with my freelander. I plan to put it up for sale next week so would just like to say thanks all for all the help and I have no doubt I will have a landy agaiun soon.

few bits as expected with age but mechanically it is spot on and there are a few extra bits with it.

A friend is thinking of buying a 4x4 for towing his caravan.

Hi, I live inbetween Chesterfield and Sheffield.
dont know about price as I havent looked at what theya re fetching yet but I am open to suggestions from anyone.

mechanically car is sound and the VCU and TC all work as they should as I tested them with the tests as on here.

interior has no rips etc and is good, there is a small key scratch to driver door and small shopping trolley dent, but not that bad just being honest.

extras are dog guard, roof bars, and genuine hard plastic bucket boot liner.

bits that dont work - sun roof is closed and doesnt leak so I have taken fuse out (usual)

remote locking locks all doors and opens all but drivers, but it works fine with key.

Oh yeah and it has a towbar I had fitted to tow our caravan (but i never actually towed it due to wifey getting pregnant)

CD changer is not working. there is power to it but its not linking with radio, radio works though

drives and starts spot on with no smoke etc.

ok its on here and on 'the bay'. does this seem fair?

Your too far away for me plus I think its a little steep for my friends tastes. My Brother has just bought one albeit a manual for the same money but it was a 51 plate with a brand new engine in it although it has been round the clock. But its absolutely mint. Cheers anyway and good luck selling it.

no worries, its actually cheap if you look at the prices on the net, and auto's are slightly higher
