Child steps for Disco 300tdi

My wife has a Disco 300tdi which she loves, and I thoroughly enjoy using around the farm. However, we have a heavy 2 year old and are expecting a second in June 2015, and I envisage her having difficulties lifting Henry into the back seat in the near future. Once he is the car she can get him up to the seat easily with a little step, but lifting him off the ground will soon be a problem.

I have looked at putting a folding step or similar under the door so he can climb in, but wondered if anyone else had had similar issues and how they solved it before I go to far on my mods!

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

We used something similar to this when my niece was small so she could climb into the motor home.

The only reason we went snap-on was the weight limit, at the time we were looking they had the heaviest weight capacity we could find so anyone in the family could step on it. They was/are a lot cheaper versions of it, if you don't need the weight limit.

I did start looking along those lines, yeah. What about a defender side step or disco rear step? Would either of those work?
